The PowerRumble FX from InterAct is a rechargeable stereo speaker, rumble pack and battery pack add-on for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. It fits at the rear of the GBA and connects into the battery compartment. It has a separate on/off switch and Sound/Rumble selector switch with a vibration level control. It powers both the GBA and the audio amplifier / rumble feature and is fully recharbeable. An external 3V power supply is supplied for charging the unit.

This exhibit has had the original 4x AA 900mAh NimH cells replaced with more modern 2x AA 2450mAh ReCyko technology cells. This increaes the gameplay time and allows the PowerPak to remain charged whilst not in use.

This rechargeable power pack works great, particularly with the upgraded battery. The rumble feature works as well as other rumble products for the GBA. The Stereo sound is supposed to be an upgrade from the GBA internal speaker, but with even reasonable volume levels the audio is buzzy and distorted. I actually prefer the better quality mono sound produced by the GBA.
