The PowerPack from InterAct is a rechargeable battery pack add-on for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. It fits to the GBA battery compartment in place of the battery cover and has a docking station which allows the GBA and PowerPak to be charged whilst fitted.

This exhibit has had the original 2x AA 900mAh NimH cells replaced with more modern 2x AA 2450mAh ReCyko technology cells. This more than doubles the gameplay and allows the PowerPak to remain charged whilst not in use.

This rechargeable power pack works great, particularly with the upgraded battery and it sits well in the charging dock. However, the battery pack itself is a little on the large side which makes the GBA a little cumbersome with it fitted. I suspect the enclosure for the battery pack was also used for alternative products such as a rumble pack as it has a lot of unnecessary empty space.
