Description:
The Mac mini is a small form factor PC created by Apple. The Original Mac Mini was released in 2005 with Apple's G4 PowerPC architecture, but this second generation Mac Mini is based on Intel. The A1176 range supported a variety of Intel processors from the 1.5GHz Core Solo (T1200) to the 2.0GHz Core2 Duo (T7200), all with DDR2 memory and integrated Intel GMA graphics. This model has the T7200 processor with 2GB memory, 2.4x DL Superdrive, Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Mac mini is essentially laptop hardware and a small form factor case for people who only needed laptop performance, but wanted desktop flexibility. It continued to be the cheapest way to own an Apple Mac computer which retailed at around £500 for a basic spec mini, keyboard and mouse.
